looking to borrow a live trap

Post by kerstinvj » Mon Feb 16, 2026 2:02 pm

Hello. My poor chickens have been terrorized and killed by a single raccoon for the past few nights. Does anyone have a live trap I could borrow? It keeps coming back and despite daily repairs, spends hours finding a way into the coop.

kerstinvj@gmail.com - thank you so much!

I do have a live trap that might be big enough. I need to note that it is illegal to transport wildlife off your property (not sure of the exact rules), so you might contact WDFW for assistance to deal with a captured critter.
