So just how did so many talented singers and songwriters end up out of Canada?
Neil Young joins Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn, Robbie Robertson and the Band, Alanis Morisette, Shania Twain, Brian Adams, k.d. lang, Sarah Mclachlan and other more recent musicians I'm less familiar with—all born north of the border.
Maybe it's something about the latitude, I'm not sure.
