No flights from/to Wenatchee in September!

Just a heads up for any travelers:

I was looking to book a trip in Sept that didn't involve driving to Seattle or Spokane. Nope.

The Wenatchee Airport is closed from Sept 3 until Oct.1.

Thanks Randy - good heads up.
They're repaving the runway and doing a lot of other surface work. New hangars too. Wenatchee is set to keep growing.

Depending on where you are going or returning from, AMTRAK stops in Wenatchee. We take the train to St. Paul, MN fairly often and many times it is cheaper than flying. The downside, time. 33 hours to St. Paul. But, we're retired so time isn't so critical. The upside, you get to see some incredible scenery.
