Yakima Half Way

Got any suggestions on a good place to connect with someone in or near Yakima?

One of us will be coming from the Methow, the other from Mt. Hood area. We need to meet and deliver a package. Figured Yakima was about half way from the Methow and Mt. Hood

Meeting place should be easy to find, pleasant enough to wait for the other party to arrive. Not too far off the track.

Ideas? Thanks

I would suggest the Yakima arboretum. It's right off the freeway.

In Yakima maybe consider Walmart.Another option, Dairy Queen which is right off the highway. You might also consider Costco in Union Gap if you’re a member. All these places are easy to find with or without GPS.

I grew up in Yakima- it’s a shame if you’ve never visited The famous Miners Burger and order a Miner burger while you wait. Local Institution that probably still outsells McDonald’s.
