Old Schoolhouse Brewery is seeking a motivated, hardworking Assistant Brewer/Cellarperson to join our brewing team in the heart of the North Cascades. This is a hands-on position ideal for a strong individual who is passionate about craft beer and eager to learn the ins and outs of commercial brewing.
Job Title: Assistant Brewer / Cellarperson
Location: Old Schoolhouse Brewery – Twisp, WA
Compensation: $19–$25/hour, DOE

Key Responsibilities:
• Brewing Process Support: Assist with brewing operations from milling and mashing to fermentation and filtration
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary brewing environment, including tanks, hoses, kegs, and floors
• Packaging: Help package beer in cans and kegs and prepare orders for distribution
• Raw Material Handling: Receive, store, and stage brewing ingredients
• Quality Control: Participate in checks to ensure consistent beer quality
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and brewery protocols
• Other Duties: May include yeast management, cellar work, and restocking.

Requirements:
• Able to lift 55+ lbs and move 160 lb kegs
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods
• Willing to work in wet, hot, cold, and loud conditions
• Ability to follow SOPs with attention to detail
• Strong communication and team skills
• Must be 21+
• Forklift experience a plus
• Previous brewing or beverage production experience preferred but not required
