ISO seamstress/clothing alterations

Post by Blue52 » Sun Dec 07, 2025 9:33 am

Does anyone in the valley do clothing alterations (hems, replace zippers, custom sewing)? Needs to be fragrance free.

Hi there,
I have a small business in Twisp called Garage House Goods. I typically do gear repair, custom sewing, and I also make my own recycled goods.

I replace A LOT of zippers, mend lots of outer wear as well as backpacks/tents, don't mind hemming pants - but I do not offer full service alterations on gowns and formal clothing.

My studio is a working space not a store front, but I am available by appointment on Mondays and Thursdays.

You can schedule an appointment on my website: GarageHouse.org
You can see more of my work on Instagram: @GarageHouseGoods

My studio is located above Tappi, and it often smells DELICIOUS - so not fragrance free. It is also dog friendly. I do not launder clothing and ask that everything is clean up arrival. I do not require clients to be fragrance free, but I certainly wont be adding any fragrances to your gear. If this suits your needs feel free to reach out!

Excellent alterations and advice on doing such.

Amy (GarageHouse) did a fine job for me hemming pants and replacing the zipper in a vest.
