I'm wondering if anyone has experience with a roof top tent. If so, how are they? My husband and I would like to try one.
Please call so we can get more information.
Thanks,

They are awesome! They feel secure and similar to a tree house. Easy to pop up and break down and go!

Deirdre -
Very much a "you get what you pay for" camping accessory. Weigh out the options, visit some overland dealers for questions/show & tell (go online to Overland Expo - West and scroll through their exhibitor list).
Design around the tent entry/exit, ladder attach and feel (think pitch dark, rain, groggy pre-dawn needs...) rank pretty high on actual usability as well pop up and break down. Ventilation always reigns supreme in such and some models get pretty specific with particular vehicle aerodynamics (either with air dams or design) - cuz going down the road with a high pitched wind whine can kill the open road buzz.
Hope the help the thought process.
