Water Hardness
Any folks have recommendations on managing for hard water that doesn't involve salts or other water softeners? We live on east county road and have a water hardness of 10 grains per gallon (considered "hard" but not "very hard") but otherwise a fairly neutral pH and no iron. I'm hoping there's a more affordable and practical option than reverse osmosis that might lower our hardness. The goal isn't to eliminate our hardness, just improve the lifespan of our appliances, faucets, etc.
