Antique Clock Repair needed!

Post by TLane » Sun Jun 07, 2026 5:40 pm

Does anyone work on or have experience with old clocks?

We have a grandmother clock that the hour hand is off and needs to be repaired. If you or have a reference to someone who can help we would appreciate it.

There are some good videos on YouTube that cover things like that.

I ended up taking mine to Boyd's in Renton. There aren't many good clock guys left.

I’ve had good luck with Sandbergs in Wenatchee in the past - they did a really good job on my grandmother clock which is over 100 years old, plus my 70 year old mantle clock. In fact, I need to call them for another repair!

I do believe Jerry Keefer, my retired clock maker said he was in Rock Island
