Our house reading 105°F. National Weather Service (Twisp) indicates 101°F.

Fortunately, the Relatively Humidity is about as low as it gets—9%—with a chance of showers beginning this PM and lasting for a day or two. There's a Red Flag Warning tomorrow afternoon into the evening.

I guess chill is the operative word. That and be careful. I didn't move to Los Vegas, really.

Just a heads up from the National Weather Service for today Thursday, 7/31, 11 AM to 8 PM:

* Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms with abundant lightning.

* Outflow Winds: Outflow boundaries near storms will bring potential for erratic wind gusts 30 to 50 mph and could travel quite a distance from the core of the storm.

* Impacts: Very warm and dry conditions will be in place as storms develop Thursday afternoon. A mix of wet and dry thunderstorms combined with dry fuels may lead to new fire starts that could overwhelm initial attack capabilities. Gusty outflow winds could may result in rapid spread with any new starts.
