In response to increasing concerns about drought, climate resilience and water supply, Methow Watershed Council is proud to partner with the Okanogan Conservation District (OCD) and organizations throughout Okanogan County on OCD’s Local Drought Preparedness Planning Project. There will be a total of 6 meetings throughout Okanogan County. MWC will co-host the Methow Valley community meetings to gather ideas and feedback that support drought mitigation efforts locally to contribute to the county-wide plan. For more information, please see MWC's and OCD's websites.
