Hi, I am wondering if anyone has spotted a colony of cliff swallows in the valley?
I think they can be under bridges or structures, or on cliffs…

Has anyone seen Cliff Swallows?
Re: Has anyone seen Cliff Swallows?
There are nests along the Methow on the Sunny M trail heading to the fish hatchery. Where the ski trail cross wolf creek road in the winter. They are on a high bank after you cross the field, and the first bridge and encounter the river. Bruce Herron Wolf Creek.

The Carlton bridge used to be loaded with them when I lived there.

Thank you to all who have replied. I am still searching for the right colony.
Has anyone seen any close to the valley or even as far as Chelan?
I am Hoping for a spot away from too many people or cars…
Cliff swallows make oblong mud nests with a Circular entrance, And they are usually clustered under bridges or roof lines, Or possibly built on a cliffside, but not inside the cliff itself…
They have deep rust, orange heads.
Thanks!!
