Local Help for Tricky Fixes – From a New Neighbor

Post by GrantLaw » Sun Jun 08, 2025 1:55 pm

Hi folks,

I’m Grant—recent transplant to the valley and longtime tinkerer, fixer, and problem-solver. I specialize in the kinds of jobs that don’t quite fit into a tidy category but still need doing.

My background is in boat repair, mechanical systems, and home fixes—so I’m especially comfortable working on RVs, trailers, camper vans, and off-grid setups where things are packed tight and every system counts.

What I can help with:

• Diagnosing stubborn appliances or electrical quirks
• General home repairs and small carpentry jobs
• RV and trailer maintenance (including seasonal prep)
• Boat motor, trailer, or fiberglass repairs
• Electrical, plumbing, heating, and fuel systems
• Custom fixes for unusual problems

I charge fair hourly rates, give straight-up advice, and show up ready to work. Still getting my bearings here in Winthrop, but hoping to build a reputation for being reliable, resourceful, and easy to work with.

Call or text: (503) 957-6893
Available throughout the Methow Valley.

Let’s get that project moving again.
