telephone outage

Post by fleeg » Sun Jun 08, 2025 1:01 am

We have had multiple telephone service outages over the past week. The first three took out both our land line and DSL internet service. They were relatively short-lived, only one lasting more than a day. The most recent one, which started mid-afternoon on Saturday June 7th, is still on-going. This one (obviously) left our DSL, but also left us with a loudly buzzing land line, inability to dial out, and gives anyone calling us a busy signal. We have been unable to contact CenturyLink other than through a chatbot that offers to have someone call us. We are located a bit north of Carlton. Has anyone else been experiencing anything like this, or knows of a way to get hold of CenturyLink?

I'm on a Century-Link landline off the Twisp-Carlton Rd. No issues today with using the phone.

No problems any day this week.
