Get a yellow jacket trap now!

We have lived here 30 years, and one of the years (20 years ago?) was a really bad yellow jacket year. You could not even go outside! This year we have caught a ton of queens with the tube yellow jacket trap that has the inner cone that goes up.

Same. Our traps are filling with big fat queens.

Me, too. I've probably caught 40 queens, and they are still pouring in. And I remember that year that I,btoo, could hardly go outside into my yard the YJs were so think. About 20 years ago.

The queens are aggressive this year, we have had to swat some away from our face while in the yard. I think the queens go into the traps to fight the other queens.

That year even bald faced hornets, that are cranky normally, were on a rampage.
