Wanted: Stock Tank Heater
Need a Stock Tank Heater for Horse's. Mine quit working and none of the heavy duty ones in stock locally. Text or call: 509-342-4013. Thank you.

This cold weather is hard on stock tank heaters.
I have to flip the breaker, at least once a day. And keep ice off so they can drink.
I would test the element by plugging it into a circuit box I know is powered.
I also am adding buckets of hot water thru out the day to take the chill off the water.
Also adding diluted salt (heaping tbsp) to the evening beet pulp/vitamin mix for 2 horses to make them thirsty. I have older horses so I keep watch on how they are handling the low Temps.
When I lived in ID I kept a slow trickle off water going into the water barrel. It never did freeze totally over.
