The Merc Playhouse Presents The Crucible by Arthur Miller

[janeorme]

Here I am again, reminding you that The Merc's readers' theater presentation of The Crucible is scheduled for Oct 30, 31 (7pm), and Nov 1st (the matinee at 2).

Written in the early 1950's as an allegorical depiction of the McCarthy hearings and now directed by Magnolia Brown, the amazing and creative production consists of talented, familiar faces. It's an incredibly intense and agonizing drama of the Salem witch hunts of the late 1600's with false accusations, trumped up charges, and mob mentality. hmmm

It really is a must see. (esp because I make my first ever appearance on stage)

See you at The Merc. No reservations, just come, drop a donation into the glass bowl, find your favorite seat, and be awe-struck throughout the reading!

And please remember us at givemethow.org. Thanks!!!
