Have you ridden the Pipestone trail this summer (runs from Balky Hill Road north into Pipestone Canyon and ends at Campbell Lake trailhead)? Can you give any trail conditions? I called MVSTA but they had no current info. This trail closes from Dec. -April but it makes a great fall ride.

I rode the lower canyon trail in early summer and it was just fine. A bit brushy with Russian thistle on the Balky side. The upper canyon trail has been pretty eroded since last summer after a bunch of equestrian use.
