• Commissioners Hover and Neal discuss a recent Farm Bureau meeting that Commissioner Hover attended. The discussion at the meeting centered on the recent fires in the county and firefighting efforts.
• Commissioner Hover and Neal discuss cost cutting strategies they may use to balance the county budget, knowing that the levy lid lift wasn’t approved. Commissioner Hover references a video of him discussing the county’s budget in July at a meeting at the Methow Community Club.
• The commissioners and Pete Palmer, Planning Director, discuss a recently enacted state law allowing for the burial of human remains on private property.
• Commissioners approve the new Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program, 2027-2032.
• Meeting adjourned at 11:32.
