My guess is the USFS AI has computed that the Ptarmigan fire is going to pay us a visit before the snows fall. The number of water trucks headed uphill from the Goat Creek Snowpark in recent days plus the staging of gargantuan heavy equipment S and SE of the Ptarmigan and the almost nonstop caravan of ginormous heavy earth and sky moving equipment headed our way over the Loup today and the R&B festival grounds is starting to look like a FEMA Camp leads me to think….
