Installing a bird feeder pole

Any tips for installing a bird feeder pole? The auger either hits rock or the soil is so sandy it starts to tilt like crazy. Other areas of the backyard work, but aren’t good locations.

Would also pay for installation if concrete is the answer.

Ideas?

Another nice option for a smaller projects is the expanding foam bags for fence posts. Especially if the location is not near water, electricity, etc.
