Still a few Summer Strings Camp Openings

There are a few remaining spots available for the Pipestone Summer Strings Camp, sponsored by Cascadia Music and led by Pam Hunt. The 2026 Summer Camp dates are 7/27 (THIS MONDAY) to 7/31 with the final concert at 4:00 on Friday July 31, at the Merc Playhouse.
The Camp is held at the Methow Valley Community Center every summer. The faculty is comprised of a group of accomplished musicians and dedicated teachers from Seattle, and the local area. This fun, high-energy week culminates in a public performance, on the last day of camp.
The camp is divided into two sections: String Orchestra and Small Ensembles.
String Orchestra 9:30am- 2pm - For children 8 or older who have played strings at least one year and competently read music (in first position).
Chamber Music 12:15 – 5pm - For strings students who have played a minimum of three years and read music fluently.
Fees:
Partial day $300
Full day $400
Partial scholarships available
