Help support Bev Nieves during her cancer treatment for Cutaneuos Squamous Cell Carcinoma ! Many of you already know dear Bev and and how she brightens up any room with her great sense of humor and friendly conversation. For those that do not know Bev yet, she is a single 79 year old woman who lives and works in the restaurant industry in the Methow Valley. Since February 1st, 2026 Bev has not been able to work due to her cancer treatment, pain levels, and restricted activities (not lifting objects over 5 pounds, walking limited to 10 minutes). Bev's savings are being drained due to medical expenses, travel to medical appointments, and lack of ability
to work. She estimates a cost of $400-$500/ week for housing and living expenses in Wenatchee during radiation treatment 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Her loss of income, medical expenses, as well as
transportation and housing expenses are expected to be several thousand dollars and they will cause an
extreme financial hardship for her. She looks forward to returning work after radiation treatment is completed :).
