Reading like a Writer Book Club starts Wednesday 6/17; All Writers and Readers Welcome!

Hello all!
Wednesday 6/17 marks the first session of a six week reading workshop/book club through the Winthrop Library called Reading like a Writer: A Craft Focused Literary Fiction Workshop.
What it is: over the course of six sessions, we'll meet to discuss a selection of literary fiction through the lens of craft, with the idea that by cracking open a text to examine how authors use elements such as structure, voice, point of view, character development, and language to shape meaning and impact, we’re better able to hone our own craft as writers. If you love stories and talking about them, come check it out! No prior knowledge necessary :)
We'll spend the first session (Wednesday 6/17) chatting a bit about what craft is in a general sense before handing out the book for the following session. We'll be meeting in the Community Room at 6:30pm. If you're interested in joining but can't make it to the first session, please feel free to email me, Kieran Mundy, at mundyk@gmail.com so we can find a way to get you the first book.
