Does anyone know when and why Boulder Creek was closed to fishing?

Boulder is closed below the falls (river mile 1) all year since there are mostly steelhead/salmon below. It ts been that way a long time. It’s open above the falls Sat before Memorial Day to Oct 31.

I was looking at the FishWA app and the lack of any sort of scale confused me on which reaches were open. Made me think something had changed. Thanks for clarifying.

Generally, if you don’t see it in the regs, it’s open during normal fishing season. If you see it in the regs, it’ll either say closed or have limited fishing times or rules.
