Free Film Screening for Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Please join me (Dr. Megie Shean) and Room One to build community, learn about maternal mental health, and share support.
May 28, 2026 from 5-8:30pm at Room One.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
5pm: Doors open
5:00-5:30PM: Community Connection, light snacks and refreshments provided
6:00PM: Screening of 'More Than Blue' begins
7:30-8:30PM: Facilitated conversation with local providers
Local providers include:
Dr. Megie Shean, Psychologist (PTSD specialist)
Sarah Simmons, Midwife and Childbirth Educator
*This film includes themes of postpartum depression, maternal mental health struggles,
suicidality, and emotional distress.
