are the wood chips at meadowlark trail head free?

many piles at the trail head (north of town by cemetery) are these available for anyone? If anyone knows please advise thanks!

They might be the product of the free chipping event, but I’m not sure. I called the Twisp public works to find where the Twisp ones were deposited. Maybe check with the Winthrop public works

There are loads of chips at the Mazama trailhead right now, as well as free firewood….
