We are excited to be bringing our crew of fixers, menders, sharpeners, darners, sewers, and tinkerers up the valley this Saturday to the Winthrop Library Community Room, 10am - 12pm! So gather up your broken things and come see us for this very special Winthrop Repair Cafe 🔨🧵⚙️🙌 (and just to be clear, Repair Cafe is open to EVERYONE, regardless of whether you identify as a Winthropian or not!)
👀Fine print:
We welcome a whole plethora of items at our Repair Cafes from bikes to garden shears to small appliances, but please do keep a few things in mind:
👉 We request that you stay with your items during repair - no drop-offs please! (this is a great time to learn a thing or two about how your item is fixed💡)
👉 Please only bring items that are small enough to carry.
👉 Please do not bring any items with small engines*, hazardous fluids, or that are excessively dirty (give 'em a clean first!)
*If you have a small engine item in need of repair, we have a solution for you! Submit your small engine project to Repair Corps (our teen service-learning program) so our youth have some great small engines to work on this summer! For details & to submit a project, fill out this form (copy/paste): https://forms.gle/iu5RpwjHTiuFUWmp6
OR, you can email zoey@methowrecycles.org, or call us at 509-997-0520
