Do you love to read?
Do you enjoy talking about books?

Join FOWL and Methow At Home for a relaxed and welcoming Open Book Club tomorrow (4/10) — a chance to share what you’re currently reading or a favorite book from the past. No assigned reading — just bring yourself and a book you’d like to share.

Each participant will have about two minutes to tell us about their book. You might inspire someone’s next great read — and discover a few new titles yourself!

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors, share stories, and celebrate our shared love of reading. Registration not required but helpful to let us know you are coming.

We hope you’ll join us! 📚

Since I can't attend, I'll throw this out there. Not your normal book club read but...
The Brain That Changes Itself by Doidge. I was looking for a pertinent book to address my strokes and brain plasticity and stumbled across this. Absolutely fascinating. Gives you a whole new insight on human function and the brain.

If you dont use it you lose it? Dead on. Unused brain maps are simply 'pruned' back to reclaim the areas for better use. Broke my heart when I tried to just pick up my basket making again.
