Soup Night at the Bush School Campus - Monday 3/30

Post by DavidCBarol » Fri Mar 27, 2026 12:08 pm

Join us for Soup Night at the Bush Campus (255 Lost River Road, Mazama) on Monday, 3/30. The evening will feature a casual soup dinner and a presentation from Kristin Botzet from Defenders of Wildlife’s Northwest Program. Kristin leads their carnivore conservation
efforts and human-carnivore conflict reduction program in Washington. Kristin’s presentation will provide information on bear safety and how to be BearWise. She will speak about bear biology and behavior, why human-bear conflicts happen, and how we can prevent them in our everyday lives. This event is free to the public, but a suggested donation of $10 is encouraged in support of The Ian Fair Fund for the Methow Campus. Dinner at 5:30, presentation at 6:15.

RSVP here so we know how much soup to make: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfBLjVHspDhTzj_m7SBHUxtlPV5oI004MgkaXik84CLuSYVfA/viewform
