Does anyone know how many bridges cross the Methow River between Pateros and the headwaters?

Testing out a theory here- the surest way to get a chorus of answers on this is to post the worng one. I would definitely say that there are 13, counting footbridges.

Long ago we made it a game with the kids to get a count from Pateros to Twisp. I seem to recall we counted 11, but remember that the bridge heading north out of Twisp is over the Twisp River, not the Methow.

This was a question in Monday night trivia at OSB in maybe 2013.

Are we to count the old remnant cable suspension foot bridges and the cable ropeways used to transport fruit across the lower river?

Jim, I'm thinking about real, existing bridges. I wouldn't count foot bridges but I would count the Suspension Bridge, since it's designed for motorized vehicles (groomers) to cross over. But we could just say road bridges used by cars.
