To the driver of a gold or green Subaru Forester (2 people inside) leaving Winthrop headed toward Edelweiss:
Your urgent need to pass me (blue Subaru Forester) while we were still in the 25-35 mph zone heading west out of town is going to cost me around $1,500 to replace my entire windshield. The reason you were able to accelerate so quickly by me and spray rocks onto my car is because we were still in the Winthrop town limits and not even close to the beginning of the 60 mph zone. This should be obvious since you were already back in the west-bound lane by the time you reached the 60 mph sign.
Sometimes rocks just get kicked up and it's not necessarily anybody's fault. But in this case, your carelessness is at fault and going to cost me a lot of money to fix. Maybe you'll think about that next time you can't wait for a few hundred feet to go fast.
