On the Methow Valley Ranger District, positions will be in developed recreation and trail crews. Developed recreation crews operate and maintain US Forest Service developed recreation sites, including campgrounds, trailheads, and day use areas. Work activities will include cleaning recreation sites, infrastructure construction and repair, vegetation management, maintaining information kiosks, and providing visitor information.
Trail crews work to maintain trails throughout the Methow Valley Ranger District, including logout, brushing, tread repair, bridge and other structure construction, and more.
