OCEC - Methow Fiber OSP Fiber Technician

Methow Fiber-OCEC Broadband Division is hiring a OSP Fiber Technician. Full-time with benefits: employee covered by medical, dental, basic life. 401K after one year. 8 hours sick leave per month & 2 weeks paid vacation per year, 11 paid holidays per year. Salary range of $30/hr to $45/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
Must have HS diploma or GED. The ideal candidate has minimum 2 years of experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing, Fiber Optic Technician certification, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, a CDL license, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and is familiar with Washington State dig laws, utility marking, and permitting processes. Attention to detail and good oral communication skills required. Preferred experience with GIS and fiber management software, and must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs.
