does anyone know who does passport photos in the Methow Valley? hoping someplace here does them to avoid driving to Wenatchee or Okanogon...

Look up the rules for passport photos on the State Dept website. You are allowed to do them yourself, if they meet certain criteria.

My last 2 Passport renewal photos were done by my friends…with me standing against a wall.

Jim is right about taking your own. Follow the online instructions carefully.

I didn't have a good wall for doing it in my house - all our walls are painted an unacceptable color. I ended up getting a photo taken at Fedex in Wenatchee. I think it cost $12 on a memory stick.

I had my hair-cutter in Twisp take my last one - a couple years ago - in the hallway going to the bathroom in her salon….it was the perfect background color!

Okanogan Post office takes Passport photos. Photo hrs 11 to 3

You can take the picture yourself against a white wall, and print them at Ulrichs. They have a white wall in the pharmacy waiting area.
