I have a treasured old VHS tape of my Mom playing Ragtime piano. Do you know anyone in the Valley who can transfer VHS to DVD?

My son just has the equipment to do this and will be offering this as a service sometime in January. He said he can reach out to you through the bulletin board then.
Happy Holidays!!

It's good to hear there will be a local solution. Sending treasured and irreplaceable photos or videos to some place far off gets me nervous, even if there usually is no problem with reputable companies.

Mehaffey, please keep us posted.

Not to undercut the local option, but just FYI, Costco used to offer this service, converting both film and VHS to DVD. Haven't checked recently to see if that is still offered.

Hello, I'm the person who will be doing tape transfer / digitization services.

I thought I had all the necessary hardware, but it turns out my VCR is broken. I've ordered a VCR online and expect it to arrive in the next couple weeks. Once it arrives I'll have all the equipment I need to perform the transfers.

Once I'm fully set up, I'll reach out to everyone here who is interested. And I'll also make a post on the main forum announcing the service.

Thanks everyone for your patience.
