KTWP and KPBW (NPR) off the air today, Sat., Sept 20

Spokane Public Radio will be off the air in parts of the Methow and Okanogan Valleys on Saturday, September 20, while our engineers replace the transmit antenna at KPBW Brewster (91.9 FM). This work is the first step in converting KPBW to HD Radio, which will make it possible to bring all three of SPR’s program services—News, Classical, and Jazz—to the Methow and Okanogan Valleys.
Because KPBW also feeds KOMQ Omak (88.5 FM), KPBG Oroville (90.9 FM), and KTWP Twisp (91.1 FM), those stations will be off the air during much of the day as well.
