the instrument, rather than the kitchen implement. looking to buy one that's a bit easier to play than the $200 thrift store find I've been playing on for the past half-decade or so. Pretty open to paying between $500-$1000 depending on a few things. figured I'd ask around here before I dive into the FB world.

I bought an Eastman Mandolin through the Mandolin Store in Lebanon Ohio. (623) 933 8319. I really like the instrument and the folks. This is the second instrument that I have purchased without playing it first, I was wary about that but I have been very happy with both instruments. At least they are worth calling. There are essentially three grades of mandolins available, you will be in the middle grade. To get an American made instrument your talking 4-6 thousand dollars. I paid extra for the Eastman because I needed a pickup, I also have a Breedlove Mandolin that was made in Bend Oregon, they are no longer in business, Both play really well. If you would like to contact me my number is (509) 341 9020, Bruce Herron Wolf Creek
