All of a sudden in Winthrop terrible smoke?? Anybody know anything?? Neighbors got phone msg Cub Creek??

Lots of smoke lost River. 3 fire veh responding last 5 mins

Our neighbors called 911 and were told it’s smoke from Canada. Another neighbor indicated same.

We just lost power and learned it’s out on both sides of the river. No estimate for when it will get back on.

“High winds are causing havoc across the county, trees are down, power lines down and phone lines are impacted. Dispatch, police and fire agencies are busy!
911 lines are up and working.
Non-emergency phone lines are impacted making the ability to make non-emergency calls into and out from Dispatch sporadic.
Smoke from Canada has blown into our valley, but no other impacts.”
