TMobile issues?

We live along HI20 a few miles up valley from Winthrop, and for the past week+ TMobile cellular service has gone wonk. No bars, no incoming calls (straight to voicemail), occassionally a few bars followed by dropped calls.
TMobile Customer Service tells me:
"we need to update our services from time to time to ensure we provide the best possible service to our customers. This is currently happening at your location. Our team is already working on this issue. We do not have an exact date for when it will be resolved."
Customer Service was unable to define "our location", so they transferred me to Technical Support, which is only available via phone service (no online chat). They tried to call 3 times, with no luck getting through. Brilliant.
Is anybody else having TMobile service issues? What kind? Where are you located in the valley? Does anybody know how the TMobile service is provided? Where is the tower and how big (or small) is the service area?
