Neighborhoods in Paris

Post by melcooke1951 » Fri May 30, 2025 1:17 pm

I think there are a lot of you who have been to Paris so here's a question.

Which neighborhood would you choose to stay in for 4 days starting 24 December and why?

Thanks in advance,

Most anywhere in The North Bank or also called the Right Bank,

Close to the Louvre, great bistros, Notre Dame, parks, the river, etc.

Have fun,

Thanks Mike, this corresponds I believe with the Charenton-le-Pont neighborhood where I see more reasonably priced accommodations.

I worked over there a few times a year and really enjoyed the Montmatre area. It’s a bit out of the hustle bustle but close enough to see everything. Good for a really French experience. Many small restaurants and shops. The Sacre Coeur is worth seeing and the view of Paris from there is spectacular.

thanks Moto, I'll look into it. Away from the hustle and bustle sounds good.
