1998 Subaru Forester S for sale, $2000 OBO - Car and set of studded snow tires included in price
211,319 miles
S model comes with power and heated mirrors and heated seats, all in working condition
Snow tires not on rims, bought last December
Within the last year I have had replaced:
Timing belt
Water pump
Cam seals
All spark plugs and spark plug wires
Has brand new all season tires on
Known issues:
Steering coil likely needs to be replaced
Shocks and struts are old and and bit rough
Check engine light comes on intermittently due to a faulty engine knock sensor
Passenger headlight is dim
Alarm will sometimes go off with no known cause, wire to the alarm horn has been cut but can be easily reattached
Various minor bumps and bruises from backroad adventures
It's older but still starts and runs strong, with a little work it would still make a great car.
