• Andrus Taylor, who has seven licenses to grow cannabis, makes a public comment about the $500 annual renewal fee and being out of compliance with the Building Department.
• The Commissioners hear the Finance Committee’s report.
o The county is earning more interest than it expected to when the budget was written.
o The Annual Report is almost ready to submit.
o Congress hasn’t yet passed the Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act, so the county will miss out on approximately $170,000. The county treasurer will try to find out if the Forest Service will pay the usual PILT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes).
• Mike Fort, Okanogan County Water Conservancy Board member, asks the commissioners if his board could receive approximately $3,000 to $4,000 per year for administrative expenses. The commissioners answer that the budget is stretched very thin, and their answer is “probably no”. They suggest other possible sources of funding.
• Meeting recessed at 11:27 for lunch.

• Board approves Larry Phillips for at-large position on Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
• Proposal of rule banning use of un-muffled breaks between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
• Approval of Public Works building remodel contract, allocation of federal rescue funds for Tunk Mt. hardening and for Coroner’s building, Fair Advisory Committee revised policies and procedures.
• Lobbyist Zak Kennedy reports on: halt on all non-essential state spending, new firearms rules, bad vibes among legislators, AG suing Adams County for deportations; expresses approval of newly elected Governor Ferguson.
• Discussion on need for Tonasket-Oroville EMS levies plus .3% levy for public safety.
• Re-appointment of Charlayne Knapp and Verlene Hughs to Planning Commission postponed until Commissioner Timm’s return.
• Fogel Pump, Colville, awarded fairgrounds well-drilling contract.
