There is a black and white cat about 35-40' up in a tree in the Twin Lakes community. Anyone have experience in rescuing from this situation, or know of someone who might be able to help with this?
The location is #2 Balsamroot, at the corner of Twin Lakes Drive and Balsamroot, 1/2 mile in from the north entrance.

Thank you

What worked for me is finding the tallest ladder, leaning it up against the tree, climbing up as high as I dare, and coaxing, coaxing, and coaxing. Kitty finally came down part way, figured it out to turn around and got to the ground.
Good luck! We love our kitties!

I don't think that anyone has ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree

My Parrot was up high in a tree last year and I ended up calling HingePoint tree service. The owner, Chris is very good at retrieving pets in trees. He commented on the location you are talking about, he had retrieved several treed cats in that area. Come to find out through the grapevine ( the bulletin board mostly)there is a German Shepard around there getting loose quite often. I'd definitely recommend HingePoint, exceptionally kind and stellar service! I'd hire him for tree services any day, very knowledgeable.

Someone from a rescue organization (Leavenworth) drove out and rescued the cat from the tree yesterday.
It is not chipped.
It's got a 1/2 white body and 1/2 tabby/stripes.
Looking for the owners or a forever home for it.
Contact the original poster if you think it's your cat.
