The Old Schoolhouse Brewery Delivery Driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring the punctual and accurate delivery of kegs, cases, and merchandise to Old Schoolhouse Brewery stores across various locations within the Methow Valley as well as Leavenworth, Wenatchee & Chelan. We are a no-drama, low stress type of business, with a well-defined role. We are looking for someone who is looking for 2 to 3 days of work per week, with opportunities for more work available. Starting wage is $18-$22 DOE, plus MANY soft benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely load, transport, and deliver items within designated timeframes.
Thoroughly inspect orders pre and post-delivery to ensure precision and completeness.
Provide assistance in loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles.
Adhere meticulously to assigned routes and adhere to established schedules.
Adhere strictly to transportation laws and uphold an impeccable driving record.
Generate necessary delivery reports and maintain relevant documentation.
Operate diverse equipment and machinery, including vehicles, trucks, hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Assist in the brewery with packaging as well as other brewing tasks as needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The ensuing physical requirements and environmental conditions must be met by the employee to effectively carry out the essential duties of the job. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Regularly engage in stooping and lifting of heavy items.
Assist in lifting cooperage up to 160 lbs.
Ability to safely drive and back up vehicles.
