Need help moving a coffee table in Edelweiss

Post by wanderlust » Thu Mar 06, 2025 10:46 am

On Saturday morning I am looking for someone to help me move a coffee table from our car into our house. It is a solid doug fir beam design so it is pretty heavy, maybe 100lbs. In any event, it is way too heavy for me and my boy.

There are a couple of stairs but otherwise is straightforward. It'll take <10 min if you are in the area. If you want the old table for free...even better!

I could spiff someone a bit if that would help

Judy - A spiff is a pat on the back or other proverbial places for a job well done...
Tis actually an acronym in the corporate capitalist's English vernacular standing for: Sales Performance Incentive Ffund ~ a one time thing given as a bonus of onus when the ante is upped and met with fervor!
That's just the facts ma'am.
Now, on the other side of that thar coin, Merriam Webster wades into the mix - bantering about with titivate (origins uncertain), spruce (up) or smarten! As in, to spiff up a tattered orchard behind a commercial center...

Now, we can all table this discussion in all its renditions and get on with the weekend!
