Want to earn your Private Pilot's License? Start by taking a ground school course and learn about the topics necessary to pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test, aka “the written test”, a requirement for obtaining a Private Pilot's License.

No actual flight training is included in this course. The official FAA exam is not included in this course, and must be taken at a certified testing center (Nearest is Moses Lake). The Methow Valley currently has no aircraft available for rental and flight training. The instructor teaching this course is hoping to eventually change that, but at present, students must seek the flight training required for their license in a privately owned aircraft or outside the valley.
