I opened up the two little 'tester' fruitcakes over the week end and I can truly say they are delicious. I shared them around with my regular guinea pigs and they pronounced them cake extraordinaire. I bought the regular candied fruits with pecans in a light batter, soaked in rum. I'm telling you that it is the best fruit cake I have ever had & I like fruit cake. Expensive and time consuming. I would rather pay Judy than make it myself! Happy Holidays!
