Next week Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and the Methow Valley Trails Collaborative are teaming up to work on the West Fork Methow River Trail and would like volunteers to help!
When: October 19-22. Each day we will meet at 9:30am and finish around 5:00pm (volunteers could leave early if needed).
Where: Meet at the trailhead for the West Fork Methow River Trailhead (Rattlesnake Trailhead on google maps)
Objectives: We will focus on brushing out the section of trail past the washed out bridge that is about 2 miles up the trail. The brush is very heavy in places. Depending on trail conditions we may do some logout, rockslide repair, and tread improvements as well.
What to Bring: If you have PPE, bring work gloves, protective eyewear, hearing protection, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt. If you do not have PPE, it will be provided. If you have a mountain bike or emtb you can bring that to make the commute faster and more fun, however bikes are optional.
