Howdy folks!
Do you dream of driving the most legendary machine on earth? The Winthrop Rink is looking for dedicated Zamboni Crew Members to help keep our ice world-class all winter long!
What you’ll do:
-Resurface the ice with the Zamboni (a crowd favorite!).
-Perform machine maintenance: propane fills, blade changes, board brush upkeep.
-Keep daily logs of ice cuts, snow removal, and maintenance tasks.
-Clear snow with equipment like tractors, blowers, and (sometimes) good old-fashioned shovels.
-Repair dasher boards and glass as needed.
-Sharpen skates for both rentals and customers.
-Pitch in with facility upkeep, cleaning, and customer service when needed.
-Stay flexible—We are open early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays!
Job Details:
Seasonal Position: November - March
Hours: Up to 35 hours/week; schedule varies (weekends + holidays required)
Pay: $22/hour starting for new drivers
